The Live/Work Condos are a design for an upscale, mixed-use development on a narrow slice of infill property in the Cotton Row Historic District of Memphis. The slender, 12-story steel structure was developed to enhance the streetscape and skyline while maximizing the client’s investment on a diminutive 25-foot wide infill lot. The thin floor plan allows for ample natural light and ventilation throughout the spaces. It was designed to be an iconic modern building in a historic district on the western edge of downtown Memphis, with dramatic views of the Mississippi River and beyond. With an efficient steel frame and concrete core, this mixed-use development houses a ground-floor lobby and ground floor covered parking, lower-level office condominiums, and upper-level residential units.
