Dalton Green, AIAS
University of Memphis / Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and Interior Architecture, 2021
Dalton is a Third Year Architecture + Interior Architecture dual major at the University of Memphis and archimania’s newest Emerging Professional Fellow. Having loved the arts since he was a kid—especially drawing, painting, and music—he has great respect for anything that involves craft. Well-designed, beautiful things make him happy, and being the artist behind those things makes him even happier. This appreciation of both form and function shapes his view of architecture as the ultimate art, and he incorporates parallel elements of other art forms into his work whenever possible.
Dalton’s efforts in school have garnered Design Excellence recognition in every UofM studio course so far. He loves creating spaces that make for healthier and more beautiful communities, foster appreciation for the arts, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. He has also developed an interest in marketing and branding through his exploration of architecture.
Though a native of Ripley MS, Dalton considers Memphis his true home. He enjoys working at archimania, and he can’t wait to see what his city has in store for him.
