Aspiring architect, John Hooten, Associate AIA, received his undergraduate degree in accounting in 2019. 

His lifelong love of drawing, music and film pushed him to consider an alternate career path where he could put his creative talents to good use. This, coupled with his undergraduate studies in Greece, is ultimately what led him to pursue a degree in architecture.

After completing his BA in accounting, he and his wife moved to Knoxville, TN, where he completed his masters of architecture. His time at UT brought back his love of drawing and introduced him to a passion for model making and thinking about architecture on a variety of different scales.

When John is not working, he likes to spend his time with family and friends. He enjoys exercising, reading, drinking coffee, and eating good food. You can also find him serving at his local church.
