A vibrant community venue for events, education, and cultural programming, enhancing the area while complementing the nearby library.

Located next to the Benjamin L. Hooks Library, the center will foster an open and welcoming atmosphere featuring a banquet and theater room, small public art gallery, a variety of meeting rooms, a learning kitchen, and an outdoor courtyard offering flexible event space for receptions, performances, and other activities.

  • The Center will feature a subtle green façade that blends seamlessly with the surrounding area. The Event Center will include a 300-person banquet and theater room, with an adjacent catering kitchen to support events. A small public art gallery will be featured, showcasing local artists and enriching the cultural fabric of the community. The center will also offer a variety of meeting rooms of different sizes, catering to both small and medium-sized gatherings. Additionally, a learning kitchen will provide space for cooking classes and community events, further supporting educational initiatives. The center’s outdoor courtyard will offer a flexible event space for receptions, performances, and other activities, providing a unique area for outdoor gatherings. Clerestory windows will be strategically placed throughout the center to allow for natural light, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere.
