John Welcher, AIA is passionate about architecture and its potential to contribute to stronger, more equitable communities. His belief in the positive social impact of architecture has led him to serve on multiple advisory boards for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Government Relations Committee for the State of Tennessee AIA, and numerous planning and visioning committees.

John was recently recognized as a 2026 40 Under 40 Honoree by the Memphis Business Journal for his outstanding contributions to the profession and community. John has experience working on a range of projects from furniture design to major infrastructure. In his free time, he enjoys long-distance running, noodling poorly on guitar, and spending time with his family.
