Ruthie Southall
Mississippi State University | Bachelor of Architecture
Ruthie centered her life around the arts from a very young age. Her love for fine arts like watercolor painting and graphite illustration drew her into the architecture of the built world. She translates her artistic abilities directly, relying on hand-drawn illustrations and sketches to process, mold, and communicate creative and pragmatic ideas. Her eye for color and composition informs every avenue of design, helping her to curate rich and considerate spaces.
While completing her degree at Mississippi State University, she spent a summer in Memphis which fostered an appreciation for the grit of the city and the grind of the Memphians within. After earning her degree, she returned setting deep roots down throughout the city and seeking new ways to assimilate into the community.
When she’s not in the office, Ruthie can be found at the gym lifting weights, around the garden tending to her vegetables and herbs, or in the books studying for NCARB licensure.
