Designing spaces that pay homage to Hunter Fan Company’s rich 135-year heritage and serve as a testament to its ongoing commitment to research, innovation, and the cultivation of its craft. The design approach has transformed the headquarters into a dynamic reflection of the company’s past, present, and future.

Embracing the client’s core values of authenticity and adaptability, the redesigned headquarters in Memphis symbolizes a fusion of tradition and modernity. At the heart of the renovated lobby sits a welcome desk designed to exhibit the fan’s motors. Serving as a nod to the company’s core product, and secondly as a visual representation of its innovative spirit. This centerpiece greets visitors and sets the tone for the company’s space, elevating it into a modern and positive environment that reflects Hunter Fan Company’s ethos. The reimagined breakrooms focus on maximizing space while integrating elements that invite connection with the outdoors, creating moments of oasis amidst the bustling workplace. A wood screen helps to define the breakrooms, providing privacy without obstructing natural light and seamlessly connecting the spaces to the rest of the office. By using materials that add warmth and texture, the breakrooms provide employees with a tranquil retreat to unwind and foster community. True to the company’s identity, Hunter’s fans and light fixtures are incorporated, serving as both functional elements, and showcasing their craftsmanship.
