It is not just about aesthetics—it’s about creating a space that fosters creativity, community, and connection. Through thoughtful design, the venue will be both a cultural and architectural landmark, enriching the Crosstown Concourse and Memphis’ broader cultural landscape.
The Live Nation state-of-the-art performance venue will host over 100 concerts and events annually. With a capacity of 1,300, the venue will offer an intimate yet dynamic experience for concertgoers. Named in homage to Stax Records’ original company name, Satellite, the venue will not only serve as a premier performance space but also host an apprenticeship program in partnership with the Stax Music Academy, providing valuable educational opportunities for the next generation of musicians and industry professionals.

The new Satellite Music Hall will further expand opportunities for local and national acts and contribute to the rich cultural community of Crosstown Concourse. Located at the corner of Autumn Avenue and North Claybrook Street, the venue’s large outdoor plaza will activate the corner, fostering a connection between the Satellite Music Hall and Crosstown Concourse. This plaza will serve as a vibrant public space, inviting visitors to engage with the venue and the neighborhood while enhancing the pedestrian experience. The dynamic diagonal façade of the building will create an eye-catching, modern look that complements the surrounding architecture. Inside, the venue is designed with functionality and performance in mind.
