The space is defined by a t-shape, which was broken down into a north-south suite and an east-west suite and joined by a large open atrium with panoramic views of the city on two sides. Each suite was organized around the shell and core elements which segregates loud and quiet work tasks and balances public and private spaces. The private offices open into the open-office workspace for ease of collaboration, while conference rooms open into an internal corridor to offer greater privacy and security. Open office areas and cafes are located on the perimeter, providing natural light and city views. Acoustical ceiling panels organize the workstations into smaller groups. Colorful acoustical felt panels subtly act as a wayfinding system within the large open office areas and contrast with the rough concrete textures of the existing building. Blocks of color were used on a large scale to separate the office zones from the communal zones. To best reflect the natural light throughout the space, white materials with high reflectivity were selected for the walls and ceilings. In addition to traditional private offices, workstations, and conference rooms, multiple adaptable workspaces were judiciously placed throughout the suites and atrium to support a variety of working styles.
